We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing. This is an opportunity to provide leadership and direction for our position in market for the development community we support. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Portfolio and Product Management, Marketing, Business Development, and Design across regions, product areas, and functions to create how our You.i TV technical value offers solve customer problems.
 
What you’ll do
 
  • You eat, sleep, drink, and generally love software tools. Does this turn your crank?
    • Working closely with our engineering team to determine technical implementation methods and to define an implementation schedule.
    • Installing and configuring our SDK to best demonstrate the features and benefits across the entire SDLC

       
  • You love engaging with people to gain an in depth understanding of your markets and buyers. Ready to be a leader?
    • Spend considerable time in the field with prospects, with buyers, and with the influencers in the market who are best suited to help accelerate acceptance for our tools
    • Represent You.i TV as a technical marketing lead in the community, at events, and in the field.
    • Keep a close eye on our market competitors. You’re always in the know.

    • Work cross-functionally to identify how to market and articulate value
    • Shape the direction of where and how we’re positioning our product in the market
 
What you bring to the table
  • 7 - 10 years’ experience and working knowledge using or building software products, particularly developer tools
  • Intimate understanding of technical buyers, developer communities, and the broader ecosystem they support
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering technical marketing materials
  • Experience with Agile methodologies across the software development lifecycle.
  • Able to coordinate across many teams and perform in fast-moving environment.
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications. Comfortable as an industry speaker.
  • Obsessive about iteration, quality, clarity, details, & execution
