As the Director, IT you will contribute to building the future of TV in a major way, by overseeing all information technology functions for the organization. Reporting to the VP, Employee Experience, you will lead the IT operations team, and oversee the company’s IT security program. 

What you’ll do:
  • Work closely with leaders across the business  to assess their specific IT needs and meet key organizational priorities/objectives.
  • Lead IT operational and security planning with IT Operations, Development teams, and leaders across the company.
  • Evaluate and support decision-making around enterprise software technology vendors, and enterprise architecture as the company expands.
  • Be responsible for consulting, managing and monitoring overall network and system security needs, including ongoing system and security testing (both internal  and 3rd party audits)
  • Assess current security policies and systems to enable system reliability, data confidentiality, integrity and availability
  • Provide guidance and leadership on preventing security breaches and educating stakeholders on security threats
  • Manage 3rd party vendors and identify where external parties are required to drive new security initiatives.
  • Lead IT Operations team consisting of IT Operations Manager, Build Engineer, and IT Support Specialist. 

What you bring to the table:
  • You have prior experience as an IT Director in a fast-paced, global company.
  • You have worked in high-growth companies and have proven experience helping companies scale.
  • You have demonstrated experience in network / security monitoring, reporting and implementation.
  • You are the go-to person for all things security-related
  • You are a hands-on leader, with demonstrated technical background in systems planning, administration and maintenance.. 
  • You are proactive, self-motivated, and have a knack for getting buy-in from internal customers. 
  • You must be able to handle multiple priorities and manage available resources accordingly
  • You have prior experience in office expansion and relocation projects. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Information or Computer Science, or a related major
